Where do Momentum Life followers like to holiday?
With so much to see and do in our beautiful country, it's no surprise that New Zealand was your favourite holiday destination!
Fifty-three per cent of respondants chose a NZ location as their favourite place to visit. The North Island was the clear winner, with 62% of people saying they love travelling there. The Coromandel Peninsula was the most mentioned spot.
For the international destinations, Australia was the favourite, with 14% of people choosing to fly across the ditch. Locations in the United States (8%), Fiji (7%) and Europe (5%) were also popular. Other countries mentioned included Thailand, Japan, Costa Rica and the Cook Islands. The furthest destination picked was Spain - a whopping 19,878km from New Zealand!
How do Momentum Life followers compare to the rest of New Zealand?
In 2014, 62% of Kiwis took at least one domestic holiday. During that same period, 25% of New Zealanders travelled somewhere overseas.
The top travel destinations in 2015 for Kiwis closely match the Momentum Life Community's preferences:
