Momentum Life - Summer Special 15% Cashback Offer Terms & Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the Momentum Life – “Summer Special 15% Cashback” offer (Offer). By participating, claimants agree to be bound by these conditions.

  2. The Promoter is We Protect Limited (NZBN 9429046347152). (“Promoter”).

  3. The Offer commences at 12:00 am on 1 December 2019 and closes at 11:59 pm on 15 January 2020 (“Offer Period”).

  4. This Offer is open only to New Zealand residents who are 18 years or over as at the date the Eligible Product Policy is taken out (“Eligible Customers”).

  5. The Offer is only available in conjunction with the purchase of a Momentum Life Funeral Insurance or Platinum Life Insurance during the Offer Period (“Eligible Product”).

  6. The Offer consists of a 15% refund of the total premiums paid in the first 12 months of the Eligible Product policy (“Cashback”) purchased by an Eligible Customer where the Eligibility Requirements in paragraph 7 below are met.

  7. Eligible Customers must meet all of the following eligibility requirements (“Eligibility Requirements”):
    1. (a) the Eligible Customer must successfully purchase an Eligible Product policy during the Offer Period with Momentum Life;
    2. (b) the Eligible Product must be current and paid up to date 12 months from the date the first premium payment is made on Eligible Product policy;
    3. (c) the Eligible Customer must not be an employee of the Promoter or its related companies.

  8. Limit of one (1) Cashback will be applied per new Eligible Product policy purchased.

  9. Upon purchase of an Eligible Product policy within the Offer Period, the Cashback offer will be redeemable 12 months after the first premium payment for the Eligible Product policy, assuming the policy is still inforce and paid up to date. Further correspondence will to be sent within 30 days of the first 12 months policy anniversary.

  10. Proof of identity, residency and eligibility is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that an Eligible Customer cannot provide suitable proof, they may forfeit the Offer in whole and no substitute will be offered.

  11. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any persons that provides false information or who seeks to gain an unfair advantage or to manipulate this Offer.

  12. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting all or any part of the Cashback is the responsibility of the Eligible Customer or recipient of the Cashback. Independent financial advice should be sought.

  13. If the Eligible Consumer elected to pay for the Eligible Product policy via Direct Debit payment, the Cashback will be paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into the same bank account used to direct debit Eligible Product policy premiums from.

  14. If the Eligible Customer elected to pay for the Eligible Product policy via Credit Card payment, the Eligible Customer will be required to provide a New Zealand bank account name and account number for the Cashback to be processed into. If the Eligible Customer becomes aware that they have submitted incorrect bank account information they must immediately notify the Promoter of the error and provide correct bank account information, and if an EFT cash back is transferred to a bank account which was erroneously submitted by the Eligible Customer, the Promoter will attempt to reverse the electronic funds transfer, and if reversed, the Promoter will then make an EFT cash back to the Eligible Customer’s resubmitted bank account. The Promoter does not warrant or represent that it will be able to effect an electronic funds transfer reversal and the Eligible Customer agrees that if they submit incorrect bank account information, and an EFT cash back is paid to an incorrect bank account, the relevant EFT Cashback may be forfeited.

  15. The Eligible Customer should allow up to seven (7) business days from the day the EFT Cashback request is submitted to the Promoter for the EFT Cashback to be made to the Eligible Customer’s submitted bank account.

  16. If there is any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and any other material, then these Terms & Conditions will override.
